Ending of the winter Xmas Tree event

The temperature on the thermometer has stabilised and risen above zero. Severe storms have passed the Exclusion Zone. It's time to pick up the toys from the Christmas tree and put everything away until the next New Year's holiday. The zone glowed with green colours again, and the plants were covered with young leaves.

New Year's radio, game menu and guitar tunes have been replaced with the standard set.

Spanish language

We are striving to update the game and make it accessible and playable for a wider audience. Finally, new localisations are being added to the game and as of today, Spanish is being added to the language change menu.

A few details:

  • Everything except the narrative component has been translated. All quests, when switched to Spanish, will be in English;
  • The localisation version is not final and will be gradually updated in the future.

Arsenal

In the Zone appeared mechanic Arsen, known in narrow communities as Arsenal.

You can get to the Arsenal by searching for signals in the Labyrinth and Stillwaters locations. When the signal leading to the Arsenal workshop is found, a teleporter will appear, and it will transport the player to the mechanic.

Arsenal is a pretty busy man, and he has his own list of projects. The player must gain the trust of the Arsenal to take on the task of improving certain weapons, and this is done by raising their reputation in the Arsenal's eyes.

Every day, the mechanic has an updated list of items that are required to raise the Arsenal's reputation. You can find out how much reputation you currently have on the Labyrinth and Stillwaters location maps.

Note: the “Buyer” property (if present) will be lost when upgrading a weapon.

Announcement board task changes

  • Helping allies
    Reduced the number of documents required from 2 to 1.
  • Outpost capture
    Keeping own outpost with a contribution percentage of 6 or more now counts.
  • Killing enemies
    Zivcas and enemy faction NPCs are now included in the task count.

Audible identification of running out rounds in the magazine

Low ammo in the magazine is now accompanied by an audible hint when firing. For example, if there are five rounds left in the magazine, you will hear a clicking sound from the striker.

The sound is not explicit and is not considered a complete mechanic, which aims to immersive addition to the sounds of gunshots.

Underbarrel grenade launchers

Added the ability to change the ammunition of the underbarrel grenade launcher in the same way as changing the ammunition of the main weapon.

Added the ability to discharge an equipped underbarrel grenade launcher from a weapon using RMB.

Fixed some technical problems in the performance of underbarrel grenade launchers.
